Now that summer's over, we're back to having our monthly mixers and are very excited to kick off the fall with Billy Birdzell!

Billy has served our country fighting in Iraq and also as a member of "Special Ops" in the U.S. Marine Corps focused on Africa but also looking a global threats. Upon leaving the service, he was the Assistant Director of Corporate Relations for the NRA, and in charge of Strategic Partnerships for Remington Outdoor Company.

He is a certified firearms specialist and has written several articles and books about guns and his experiences at war. You may also have seen him on television offering his expertise on both subjects.

Oh, and he joined the board of our chapter just a couple of months ago!

During our mixer, Billy will talk about his time spent in Special Forces and later his experiences coming home to work as a Second Amendment advocate. He will share with us why he believes the LGBT and 2nd Amendment communities should work together for a common cause in this post-Orlando world.

Log Cabin members get in for $10 which includes appetizers and happy hour pricing at the bar. Non-members are $15. As always, Governor level members and above get in for free and will also receive a drink ticket.

If you are Governor level or above, or prefer to pay in cash, check or debit/credit card at the door, click here to RSVP. Otherwise you can purchase tickets online below.

Metered parking is available on the street or at parking structure that offers a flat $6 rate after 6pm located down the street at 901 Hancock Ave.

Looking forward to seeing you!
